Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Area /Beaver Valley

The manager apologized and quickly refunded the restaurant charges that weren’t mine. I appreciate how readily that was sorted out. Still, the stay wasn’t good overall, and I’m not sure I’d return. My room was never serviced, the mini fridge didn’t work, and a dirty plate, glass, and coffee cup sat in the elevator vestibule on my floor the whole time. The lobby, elevator, and hallways were nicely designed, the room was large and comfortable, and check-in went smoothly. It was decent value for the price, but the problems took away from it.

The pool was great, the gym was clean, and my room was spotless. Everything was in order, and the staff were very friendly, especially the housekeepers who greeted me with a smile. I couldn’t find anything to complain about and will be back for two days every three months. This Hilton is set back from I-376, away from the highway noise, and the Beaver Valley mall is an easy walk away, with shops and kiosks. Jacksons, the blue-collar restaurant at the hotel, served food that looked fantastic and tasted excellent, along with a great wine selection. Within a mile there’s a Wal-Mart, Target, Texas Roundhouse, and Applebees. Pittsburgh originals Primantis and Eatn' Park are nearby too. Another mile down the road, Jerrys Curb Service is a 1960s-themed diner where we learned the steak salad originated. Locals show up with their hot rods for casual car cruises, and car hops serve you at your window. Brusters homemade ice cream is right next door to it. I wish I were younger… #612 - #615 -…

We stayed on 10/17/25, and the rooms were just as nice as the desk clerk said they’d be. She, Julien or Juslen??, even showed us pictures first. When I told her later that everything matched what she’d shown us, she said, "We would never mislead anyone, if it wasn't like I said than I would have fixed it." The rooms were perfect, and the place was the cleanest motel I’ve ever stayed in. The people felt like the good kind of family. Lots of supposedly top-notch hotels could learn from this great team.

The shipyard view from our room was a fun touch, and the common areas were well maintained. The rooms were beautiful and the staff friendly. This is one of the nicest Hiltons I’ve stayed in, and we’ll definitely come back.
