SunRise Inn Hotel

Quiet place, and I slept great. It’s an immaculately clean, old-school hotel. My first time here, and the staff were accommodating and efficient.

We had a trike motorcycle accident before check-in, and the staff met us with real concern and empathy. The woman on shift brought an ice pack for an injury and was a big help. Dan even helped my husband patch up the bike so we could drive it home. The owners were amazing and went beyond what they had to do. We’d definitely stay again and encourage others to, too. Great place!

We have the suite for our six-night stay, and absolutely love it. After a two-day drive, the warm welcome and how accommodating everyone was felt especially nice. The room is exceptional and the amenities are great. First visit here, and we’d definitely stay again when we return. Thanks, Sunrise Hotel, for a job well done!

The sinks kept clogging during my stay, even though I hadn’t put anything in them. I asked a cleaner to help, but they filled up again, making for a gross, horrendous experience. The toilet clogged too. The breakfast was simple and stale, and the furniture, including the old 1970s rotary phone, feels outdated. The owner came across as egotistical and unwilling to understand my needs or my perspective as a customer. She interrupted me, used quotation marks when describing what I’d said, and acted so unprofessionally that she didn’t even hear or understand my story. I couldn’t find any clear sign at the desk about a service dog or service pet. She also showed no grace around service dogs, even though most people can leave a dog alone during a regular workday and they’re totally okay. It felt ridiculous how far she was trying to prove her point, almost as if she knew she was wrong and wouldn’t admit it. Don’t waste your time or money here. Find somewhere else to stay.
