The Beach Plum is a real hidden gem. Getting into town is a quick drive or walk, and the beach access is beautiful and quiet. The rooms have what you need, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We love it here and plan to keep coming back. ❤️

We’ve been bringing our four children to Beach Plum for more than 12 years, and every visit feels just as special. The views are stunning, and the accommodations are beautiful. It’s a magnificent luxury hotel. The staff take care of all the details in each unit and are helpful to everyone, whether it’s a family of six like ours, a bachelorette party, or a couple away for the weekend. We highly recommend Beach Plum resort.

For 15 years, we’ve stayed at the Beach Plum. It’s an easy walk to the village for dinner or shopping, while still far enough away to stay quiet at night. Every room we’ve had over the years has been clean and well maintained. The office and housekeeping staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

After the business replied, I felt their response and “apology” only confirmed how little empathy they showed. I had to ask several times, holding back tears, whether they could do anything before they finally agreed to move the booking. They never showed compassion. After our next trip, we’ll look elsewhere in Montauk. The rooms we’ve had before were decent, though nothing special and some better than others. They’re simple efficiency apartments with the basics, private terraces with ocean views, and a great location across from the beach and near the main strip. The problem came when we had a family emergency. Our booking was for the following week, and a parent was entering hospice, so a few days away wasn’t possible. I called Viviana and was treated coldly. She said they were a business and had a policy, like most businesses. I understand policies, but customer service matters too. At the end, I was told “good luck.” They did eventually move the booking to a future date, which is the only reason I’m not giving one star. It wasn’t just the inflexibility of the policy during a difficult time, but the disgraceful attitude on the phone. My husband and I had visited for several years and hoped to make this an annual family trip with the kids. For the first time, we aren’t looking forward to staying, and we’ll seek other places in montauk for future visits.
