Ocean Vista Resort

We absolutely loved our first stay here, and the people running the place were so kind and welcoming. The locals we met were friendly and accommodating too. Our room was cozy, a good size, clean, and updated, with everything we needed for cooking and bathing. For the price, there were lots of amenities, with plenty of parking and no extra fees. The resort is just feet from the ocean and about a two-minute drive from Montauk village. There’s a huge indoor pool, tennis and Pickleball courts, ping pong, basketball, beach loungers right on the beach, BBQ grills, and lots of picnic and dining tables guests can use. The location and views are hard to beat. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon. Thanks again, Ocean Vista resort!

Pam welcomed us when we arrived, and she was so lovely. We got beach towels from her right away and used Ocean Vista’s loungers on the private beach, just a short walk away. There’s an indoor pool and an outdoor tennis court, plus a deli within walking distance. We also stopped at LUNCH for a lobster roll on the drive to the resort. The location is brilliant. Our room was spotless and spacious, with everything we needed. Each door had two Adirondack chairs, and across the green space there was a round table with four chairs for each room. Catching sunset at Montauk’s lighthouse and getting up early for sunrise at the beach were priceless. I’d definitely come back. Thank you!

The beach is beautiful, with a path leading straight to it, and there were fewer people and less traffic here than in the busier town of Montauk. Our room had two queen beds and a drop-leaf table with chairs, though we would have liked a living room or couch. After-Labor Day pricing made the trip well worth it. The staff are consistently working and very considerate.

July 5, 2025. I arrived at 2:30 a.m. after looking forward to my stay, since I had to work an event down the block the next day. The people in room 205 upstairs stomped around and made strange noises constantly from 2 a.m. until 11 a.m., completely ruining the experience. When I complained, the hostess didn’t seem willing to help or even bothered by it. I only wanted staff to know so future guests wouldn’t have the same problem, but they didn’t seem concerned. For $680 a night, I expected better service and a better stay. Very disappointing.
