Alister Montclair

I’m excited to join the community. Gabriel made the application process much easier with his patience, helpful guidance, and quick responses. I really appreciated it.

We came here from Jersey City hoping for a quieter urban home after seeing the reviews and hearing about Montclair. Instead, this has been our worst experience as tenants. Dogs bark outside our window around 3AM while their owners drink in the No-Limit Dog Run, and management doesn’t seem to keep an eye on it. We’ve also had unhealthy living conditions, with sewer walls turning yellow, and management still hasn’t found a solution. Sellena has lied to us repeatedly to avoid responsibility, even though the Montclair Police Department has handled these issues three times. We’re writing this after being woken by construction in the building at 7AM on a Saturday. Quiet Hours in Montclair end at 9AM. We’ve reported construction and other noise to management and the police three times already. If you want peace of mind, low stress, and minimal noise, don’t move here. You’d be better off in Section 8. (See the Photos)

My husband and I have been very happy with our choice to move to The Alister at the start of the new year. The staff respond quickly and have been incredible. We also love the events they host, with great food and drinks and a nice chance to connect with neighbors.

We spent more than 7 years at Alister Montclair and had a wonderful time with both the community and management. The whole team was helpful, especially Sellena Bradley. I wanted to give our experience five stars.
