The breakfast spread was nice, and I liked the shops they’ve added. The place was clean, with deep bathtubs, too. But the pipes are easy to hear, and the rooms have the feel of a cheap apartment. If that bothers you, ask for the second floor. We paid $160 including tax for a king room during car show weekend. The owner should take better care of basic things, like replacing the lamps and doing a yearly deep clean. They seem like affordable fixes.

It’s a small town, but you can walk to everything. There are some amazing restaurants and diners around, and I’d especially recommend the fishing hole. Their steak and clam chowder are amazing!

The room was much nicer than we expected for a last-minute booking on Friday, July 4th. It was spacious and clean, with a king bed, foldout couch, TV, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. The bathroom was large and clean too. We could hear people in the next room while using the commode because the walls were a little thin, but that seemed a small tradeoff for feeling comfortable and not worrying about dirt or critters. The price was reasonable compared with other places we might have found. The staff were friendly and engaging, and breakfast was included in the morning. There are a few cute shops and a nail and hair salon along the same strip, plus a gas station and restaurant in the parking lot. We had a really nice experience and would stay again if we’re in the area. I’d be comfortable recommending it, too.

I was here for work and hoped for a quiet night, but the noise carried on past 10 pm. Guests were loud, including a vocal toddler outside, and the neighbors had their TV turned up. The room also didn’t feel worth what I paid. It seems like the place has gone downhill since my earlier stays. The carpet had burn marks, looked shredded by the door, and had what might have been animal poop or food near the nightstand. There was a meatstick chunk by the door and something sticky on the headboard. The fridge had some white substance in it, maybe condensation. The tub had three small holes in the bottom. There was no remote, and the one from the office wouldn’t turn on the TV, so I had to do that manually. Breakfast wasn’t good either: the gravy was flavorless and paste-like, while the biscuits were dry and doughy in the middle.
