We had a lovely time talking with Jason and Kinga about the inn and the area’s history. They’re warm, friendly hosts, and those conversations added a lot to the visit. The inn feels peaceful and welcoming, with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially liked having no TV in the bedroom, which made it easier to disconnect. One evening we relaxed by the fire in the common area with wine and cards. Our room was a retreat too, and the beautiful clawfoot tub was especially soothing after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was excellent, and the on-site restaurant impressed us as well. We’re already looking forward to returning.

The bread basket from Good Karma Farm was a standout, easily one of the five best breads I’ve had. It had chunks of cheese rather than shredded cheese, which made it especially tasty and distinctive. We also enjoyed the short rib and chicken, and I agree with the review saying the food was “up to manhattan standards.” The cocktails and wine were very good, and we finished with key lime pie and an affogato featuring local ice cream. Both were excellent, and the pie came from the same local baker who made the bread. We were up from manhattan for the holiday weekend and had been looking for something besides bar food when we found this cozy, local inn with good food. There’s a nice lounge, a fantastic bar where we dined, and a dining room plus another area off the bar. It can be easy to stick to the mountain and feel underwhelmed by the food at Jay peak, but venture down to The INN and you won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back.

Nick was a terrific host, and the food and service were outstanding. The bed and breakfast is so carefully put together, with every painting, item, and decoration seeming thoughtfully chosen. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast came fresh, and there was plenty of parking even during restaurant hours. It was an 11/10 stay, and I’ll definitely return next time I come up to Jay Peak.

We had a very comfortable bed and found the inn really clean during our two-night stay at The Inn. The lounge, with its log-burning fire, was lovely and cozy. The restaurant was excellent; I could happily have ordered everything on the menu. I highly recommend the Maple Chomeur for dessert. Nom nom.

THE INN is such a cozy, quaint hidden gem, with great service and food. I could happily have stayed longer, especially enjoying the fireplace in the lounge while reading or relaxing. I was disappointed to learn the bar and restaurant were closed during my visit, so double-check their hours before booking.
