Right off the highway, with a gas station and convenience store nearby, plus a diner. It was quiet, and there’s plenty of well-kept grass and trees nearby for your dog. The room was clean for a budget price, with a microwave and coffee maker. The staff were friendly and professional. Don’t expect the Hilton and you’ll be more than satisfied.

I booked an impromptu night out with my friend online. At check-in, the woman was kind, but explained that because I’d booked through a third party, there was an extra $50 deposit. Since she didn’t know the deposit amount until I arrived, she hadn’t held one of the nicer rooms shown online. She put us in the last room, number 48, in the worst part of the property. The room was a letdown for the $166 we paid to relax. The shower curtain rod was falling off, and I had to hold the curtain shut so water wouldn’t spill onto the floor. The toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall, a big chunk was missing from the mirror’s lower left side, and a board covered one window. Trucks from the truck stop next door sounded as though they were right outside. There were spiders, cobwebs, and bugs, and the tub stopper was missing pieces, so I couldn’t take a bath. I’d like a partial refund and my full deposit back.

We spent a week living at this motel with my family, and the weekly rate was reasonable. They made us comfortable without even knowing the personal problems we were dealing with. Aside from the bumpy driveway, I have no complaints about the place or the stay. The decor made me feel like I’d stepped back into the 90s, but at the time they provided more than we needed. I’m truly grateful there are still good-hearted people out there. May Yahweh bless their gardens a hundredfold, in Jesus Christ’s name, amen!

The rooms are clean and well cared for, and staying here won’t break the bank like most hotels. If you want to be looked after somewhere affordable, rodeway is the place. I’ll choose to stay here over the others any day.
