It was quiet and clean, with a few things in its favor, but I’d only stay again if nothing else was available at the same price. There are almost no amenities, the lobby has hardly any decor, and the place feels cold and very dated. The pool area was basically unusable because a water pump ran all day. I was told it always runs, and they can’t turn it off or close the door behind it, which was really uncomfortable. We booked a king with a mountain view, but no such view was visible. All we could see were a line of 50-foot trees and the back of the Home Depot. In my opinion, that was a bit misleading.

Sakib was absolutely phenomenal when he helped us after the mess we had with Best Western. His customer service was spectacular, and the room was wonderful. We had a dog-friendly room with the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in while traveling. Breakfast in the morning was on point, with plenty to choose from. Quality Inn and Suites is amazing and doing things right. This was easily one of our best travel experiences. We’ll come back when we’re in Montrose for business. Twenty out of twenty stars, best place ever!

The property is aging and has a few bumps and bruises, but it was a decent value. The bed was comfortable, the heater worked, and breakfast was great.

Room 206 was lovely and spacious, exceptionally clean, and quiet. The super king bed was the most comfortable. The shower wasn’t the greatest, but it was fine, and the location is handy for some good restaurants.

I couldn’t sleep on that mattress. I’m 120 pounds, but when I lay down, I sank into it, and it shifted like a waterbed every time I moved. So uncomfortable. I never want to use that place again. It was a nightmare.
