Sherryann at the front desk is a ray of sunshine, and Regina is wonderful too. She’s always ready to help with ideas for fun things to do around the area. The whole team is genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful, with five-star hospitality and customer service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and my stay was very pleasant. I highly recommend Red Arrow Inn & Suites. Thanks for making it so enjoyable. Happy travels! 😊
The shower was unusable because there was no water pressure, and the toilet was broken and had to be fixed before we could use it. The room was gross despite some spot vacuuming and light dusting. The sheets were the only clean thing, likely because stained white sheets would be hard to get away with. Credit to the professional laundry service for that effort. The door lock was literally on its last hinges and didn’t feel strong enough to protect a family from someone breaking in. That almost made me pack up and leave. People loitering around seemed clearly like drug addicts, and I wondered when the hotel had last been cleaned. We paid over $200 for two nights while visiting grandchildren. I didn’t need a fancy hotel, just a place to sleep and shower safely, but whether it was safe is still debatable. I expected clean and safe, and my family didn’t get that. There was no sign of repairs, remodeling, or concern for the room’s disgusting condition, even though the company is under new ownership. If you sell rooms to the public in this state, expect reviews like this.
I was so uneasy as a woman traveling alone that I cut my stay short and left before the second night. Outside my ground-floor room, a group of men were smoking, and the walls were thin enough for me to hear them talking about past arrests. The first room also reeked of cigarette smoke despite the no-smoking signs, so I had to walk five minutes back to the lobby to ask for another. The staff were kind and understanding, and I don't blame them, but management needs to address this place. The second room had no bad smell, though it was extremely dated: cigarette burns marked the curtains, and there was an old phone by the toilet with its cord cut. I stayed that night only because the bed looked clean and I was exhausted. Basic cleanliness was awful, and saving money wasn't worth it. I can't understand the high rating. This felt like a sketchy motel, and I wouldn't recommend spending your time or money here.
The Red Arrow Inn & Suites was peaceful and nicely kept, with a convenient location. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed to relax. The staff were warm and helpful from the moment I arrived. I had a perfect stay and would gladly come back. Highly recommend!
The new owners have been working on renovations since taking over within the last year, and this place is a real work in progress. Give them some grace: the building dates back to 1955, and rebuilding it takes time. This dynamic duo is putting in the effort, and I think they're doing an amazing job. I've been staying at the Red Arrow Inn & Suits, and it's pretty sweet. The rooms are spacious and vintage.
