Aloft by Marriott Mooresville

The staff and hotel were fantastic, and I love the dog adoption program. The workout room was pretty good, and while the food was just okay, there are places to eat across the street. I didn’t like the black bathrooms with fluorescent lighting, since it made it hard to apply makeup and see how it looked. My shower had weak pressure, and the hot water took ages to come and didn’t last long.

I’ve stayed here twice and am already looking forward to coming back. The kind front desk staff, clean rooms, gym, and pool made the vacation feel like home away from home. Getting around was easy too, with quick access to downtown Mooresville, Lake Norman State Park, and the interstate. For me, it’s a 10/10.

The loft-style room was a welcome change after a summer of standard hotel rooms, and it was clean with everything we needed. My wife liked the Dry Bar toiletries. I’d never stayed at an Aloft before and really enjoyed it, starting with being greeted by a dog at the front desk. There are also several good food options across the road, and I’d happily stay again.

I always choose this hotel when I visit Mooresville. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are clean, and there’s a fun bar, plus plenty of good restaurants nearby. We drove to Epic Chop House and loved it. It works great for traveling.
