My Hometown Inn

The room felt like home, with cozy low lighting, a super comfy chair by the bed, periwinkle blue walls, and dark cherry colored furniture. The staff were really friendly, and I loved the free Keurig coffee bar in the lobby. I only got to stay one night and wished I could've stayed longer. I'd definitely come back when traveling through. My parents have been here for an extended stay, far from home, and seeing how comfortable and happy they are means a lot to me. The rooms feel homey, the beds are soft, and their needs have been taken care of. The place is spotless and comfortable, even though it's pet-friendly. You'd never guess dogs were allowed from how clean it is. Sometimes there's a smoker outside, but indoors the air smells fresh and welcoming. There's laundry on-site, which is easy to use. Jennifer has been wonderful to my parents. She's kind, available around the clock, and only a call away if she's not at the desk. Her number is posted for anyone who needs her. She's been a real comfort to them, and she's pretty dang funny, too. Juan and Jennifer, along with the other long-term guests, have also gone out of their way to help my handicapped father with his wheelchair. The guests have become like family, and their kindness has touched us deeply. There's a lovely garden out front with big red tomatoes, and Kevin, the resident cat, is adorable. The lobby is peaceful, with a clear fish tank full of colorful exotic fish. I found it relaxing to make a fresh cup of coffee with the Keurig and sit quietly watching them. The security cameras and bright parking lot help me feel safe visiting my parents alone. To everyone on staff, thank you for your courtesy and genuine care. This inn has become a warm haven and a lifeline for our family.

Our wedding party booked several rooms for the weekend, and everyone was impressed. The Inn is quiet, set well back from the busy street, with plenty of green space for the little ones to run around. It was also very handy to the wedding venue. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. We mentioned needing a bathroom grab bar, though we hadn't booked an accessible room, and owner Brian had one installed while we were there. Great service. The staff suggested The Parlor for breakfast and lunch, Squealers for barbecue, and Blueberry Hill across the street for breakfast. We enjoyed those recommendations.

It's really clean here, and nobody bothers you. Jennifer, the manager, is cool, and Brian, the owner, is so nice. If you need something, just ask and they'll get it for you. I love this place and highly recommend My Hometown Inn.
