They charged our work crew an extra $100 per room for one night, even though I’d called ahead and was told there wouldn’t be any added charges at check-in. I’d asked specifically about the deposit and incidentals, then booked two rooms. The hotel itself isn’t that nice, either. And avoid trying to talk to the manager on the morning of Feb. 24, 2026. She screamed, was rude, and wasn’t helpful at all. She shouldn’t be working with the public. No wonder it’s rated two stars. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Days Inn in Hinkley MN was great and didn’t add money at check-in.

Three weeks after my stay, they had refunded just one of the two $100 charges and refused to return the other. Management and the owner also don’t get back to calls or emails in a timely way. I’d booked two nights, but they messed up the reservation and split it into two separate bookings, then wouldn’t fix it. At check-in I paid a $100 damage deposit. The next day they charged me another $100 for the second night, even though I’d been told that wouldn’t happen. Staff said the charges should drop off my account, so keep a close eye on yours if you have to stay here. They overcharged me.

The staff were amazing, and breakfast was great. We had a comfortable stay in a jacuzzi suite. This was our second visit, and we’ll definitely come back for a third.

Both sets of key cards stopped working more than once while we were there, so we had to go back to the front desk to get them reactivated. Our room’s toilet was broken, too. We also got charged twice for one room, despite booking one room on the hotel’s own website and the other by calling the front desk directly. When we asked for our money back, they claimed both bookings came through a third party, which wasn’t true, and wouldn’t help us. You’ll have a better stay and save money somewhere else. Do NOT book here, you’ll be scammed out of your money!

The room was very clean, and the location was great. The front desk host was super friendly and helpful to all the guests. Mora is a really cute town!
