Hampton Inn Morganton

The hotel was clean and updated, and the staff were friendly. It’s close to the highway and restaurants, and my room and digital key were ready well before I arrived. What really stood out was the breakfast fruit. They had freshly sliced kiwi, oranges, and blackberries, even near the end of breakfast. It’s a small touch, but I travel a lot and haven’t seen that before. I’d definitely stay again.

The rooms were clean, and the hotel was quiet. Everyone greeted us with a smile, and the front desk offered a discount because we were there for a medical procedure at the local hospital. Most of the guests seemed to be commercial or business travelers. There are BBQ grills outside, a pool, and breakfast every day, though the breakfast was mediocre. The staff were amazing.

It’s a very standard Hampton building, just what you’d expect. Karen at the front desk is what makes this place stand out. She was so kind to our family at check-in and put together a wonderful breakfast for the next morning. Thanks, Karen!

I was glad to find the only Hilton property in the area near where I needed to work. It’s right on I-40 at the entrance to Morganton, with easy interstate access, restaurants nearby, and a short drive downtown. The staff were friendly, and the beds were comfortable with a good work area. The desk chair wasn’t very comfortable, though. The rooms were okay but could have been cleaner, as the shower had signs of mold in some corners.
