James at the front desk was great when I checked in on 1/3/26. He remembered me from when we used to stay here. I needed a room because I had the flu and a newborn at home, but that night was rough: the pipes banged, the fridge was really loud, and the window had no curtains with a light shining in from right outside. I was still sick the next morning, 1/4/26, so around 10:30 I asked to stay another night in a different room. The front desk worker, who wouldn't give his name but I think was Christian, said I'd have to wait until check-in to get a new room. He was very rude and shouldn't be working at a hotel. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I won't come back.

Pet owners should steer clear of this chain. I was charged an $87 pet fee that wasn't clearly disclosed when booking, pushing the nightly cost past $200 with charges I hadn't been told about. That kind of surprise billing raises concerns about fair advertising and consumer protections, since customers should see mandatory fees before they buy. For the same money, you can find much better hotels, often with breakfast included, no pet fee, and clearer pricing. I strongly discourage anyone traveling with a dog from staying here, given the lack of transparency and questionable billing, and can't recommend the hotel.

I spent nearly two weeks trying to get an explanation, and nobody would take responsibility or answer why I was charged. I had asked at check-in whether bringing my rabbit for a night or two would cost anything while my apartment got new flooring. They said the $75 dog charge applied to stays over seven days and that there was no rabbit fee. My rabbit stayed one night, mostly in its cage, made no noise, and caused no damage. Still, they billed me $132 as a rabbit fee, saying they were only dog friendly. The invoice also showed a separate $9 pet fee. I tried to be upfront with them, and they took advantage of that. I could easily have brought the rabbit without mentioning it, and no one would have known it was there.

We booked mainly because the place we needed to reach was within walking distance, and the location worked out great. The room was clean and had what we needed, including a full-size fridge. It was quiet at night, so sleeping was easy.
