I realized within about 10 minutes that I’d booked the wrong hotel. Our group was staying at the Quality Inn, but I’d accidentally reserved the Comfort Inn instead. Since I’d booked the night before, the room was nonrefundable. Hotels.com called the hotel to ask for help, and the person who answered said the manager wasn’t there and they’d need to call in the morning. I had no other option, so I canceled. Hotels.com has followed up several times to try to get my money back, but the manager still won’t refund it. I understand the policy, but I caught my honest mistake quickly, and the hotel was sold out that night, so I don’t think I cost them any business. Please keep this in mind when booking.

The room was great, the location was wonderful, and the front desk staff were friendly. But I found a bedbug, which really disturbed me. For $128.88 on a Tuesday, there shouldn’t be bugs in the room. I won’t come back to this location.

We found several bugs in the bathroom, and part of the ceiling looked like something had fallen through it and been barely patched. The rooms smelled strongly of mildew, there was no Wi-Fi, and breakfast had very slim pickings. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If the review form didn’t require a star, I wouldn’t give it one.

The charge that set this off was a surprise pillow fee added after our stay, with no warning or explanation. When I called to dispute it, Christine, the manager, spoke down to me and then hung up while I was still trying to sort it out. Who even steals a pillow? I’m a Diamond member with Choice Hotels, and this has been my worst experience at one of their locations. Christine showed no empathy or accountability, just a disrespectful attitude. That feels shady. Unless Christine is replaced, I’m taking my business and loyalty elsewhere. This location can count me out.

The staff were pleasant, and I found the room perfectly clean. Parking felt secure and safe, with easy access to the hotel. I arrived at around 6:00 PM and was quite pleased with the stay. I believe they didn’t have food or breakfast for guests.
