Best Western Plus Morristown Conference Center Hotel

My room was comfortable, with nice beds, plush towels, and good lighting. I was pleasantly surprised by the setup for my small dog: the patio opened straight onto a grassy area, and the sliding glass door looked out at the mountains. The Best Western Plus is an older property, but the service and view made up for that.

We found the front desk staff friendly and helpful, and the pool, laundry machines, and breakfast area were all easy to get to, though we didn't use them. Our room was spacious and very clean, even smelled clean, with a balcony and a great hot shower. It's right off the highway, so it worked well as a stop on the way to Chattanooga.

Breakfast needs a little more attention: the orange juice was sour and watery, and the bacon was so thin you could see through it, though it was crispy. At night, the curtains let in enough light that the room still looked like daylight. Housekeeping also starts vacuuming at 8:00 a.m., which isn't great for people who sleep late. The rooms were nice, and everything else was okay.

The rooms were good, though the curtains don't fully cover the windows and street lamps shine in. The rest of the stay was easy and fantastic, but the Wi-Fi was a major problem. My laptop flagged the network, with gateway and DNS issues, and the connection was practically nonexistent. For a place calling itself a business conference center, that made it impossible to join meetings or get much work done, so I had to use my own mobile data. The signal and speed don't meet what I'd expect in 2025, and the stink bug issue also seems to have gone unresolved for a long time. I watched them come out of knots in the wood on the building's side and from the white covered vents. If bugs like that bother you, be a little wary.
