Magnolia Inn Bed & Breakfast

Sandy’s homemade food and treats were our favorite part. The scones, frittata, and Dutch baby at breakfast were delicious, and my husband may or may not have wiped out the cookie plate. Joe and Sandy were gracious hosts who made us feel cared for. The rooms were nicely equipped, the beds cozy, and we could walk everywhere from this central spot in Mount Dora. We’ve just left and are so glad we chose the Magnolia Inn. We’ll be back!

We stayed over the Christmas holidays, and Sandy, Joe, and the town were so welcoming. The Magnolia Inn is a beautiful 100 year old Southern mansion with period decorations and modern, fully working facilities. It felt comfortable and homey, the hosts were super nice, and breakfast was great each day. There’s also a nice side patio for sitting at the end of the day. Loved it, and highly recommend it for a getaway.

Homemade breakfast made our visit especially tasty, and the friendly owners made us feel right at home. At Magnolia Inn in Mount Dora, our king bed was very comfortable, and both the room and shower were super clean. We had chocolate treats for enjoying hot drinks, plus homemade cookies. The inn is an easy walk from everything Mount Dora has to offer. We recommend it and can’t wait to come back.

The house was decorated for Christmas when we stayed the week of the holiday, and it felt warm and cozy. Sandy and Joe were so sweet and hospitable, and the breakfast was delicious. Part of the welcome is getting to choose what you’ll have for breakfast the next day. This adorable B&B is perfectly placed for walking downtown Mount Dora. I only wish we’d had longer to help with the puzzle. Thanks for having us, we’ll tell our friends!
