Quality Inn & Suites Mt Dora North

The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows. The room was fairly comfortable too, though a few blood stains on the sheets and some other questionable marks on the couch were concerning. There was mold in the picture frames, but I figured it couldn’t hurt me as long as it stayed contained in the glass. Only one TV remote worked, and the living room TV was burnt out, though that didn’t really matter. A decent hotel overall.

I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel. The room smelled like mold, and I saw a German cockroach on the nightstand. I tried to take a picture, but it crawled into the alarm clock. I moved the nightstand right away and found little dead roaches on the floor. After going to the food spot next door, I came back and noticed the room had a back door to a lake that had been cracked open the whole time. I checked to see if anything was missing. Luckily, everything was still in place.

I was there for four business nights and slept well in the king bed in my non-smoking room. It was really clean, and the cleaning staff brought extra towels. The shower temperature was perfect. There’s a great lake view outside, and the setting feels romantic. I could work on my computer with the internet, and there was a desk and chair in the room. The location is close to everything you need.

Very clean, and the staff were so friendly. The stores and restaurants are close by, and breakfast was included. Excellent service and a great place to go. My family and I will definitely be back.
