Knights Inn Mount Laurel

We arrived late and went straight to bed without looking around. In the morning, when I put my bra back on, a roach dropped out from between my breasts. Then I looked more carefully at the floor and saw roaches crawling everywhere, so we left right away. There were adults and babies, and none of the ones I saw were dead. The staff said the exterminator had recently been there, so there might be dead ones. Even finding that many dead roaches would have been alarming. I showed the office pictures and reported what we'd found. The man there said we could have switched rooms if we'd come back within an hour of checking in, but he wouldn't refund us. I can't imagine the other rooms were any different. It was horrifying and disgusting.

Roaches were all over the room, even on the bed, and I left after just an hour. The bathroom and room were filthy, there were no towels, every surface felt sticky, and the floor had something that might have been blood. The old heater and AC blew air that made it hard to breathe, and I wondered if there was mold. The desk wouldn't refund me and offered another room, but I wasn't going to take it. I went straight to the La Quinta next door. It cost more, but it was a million times better. Gross. Don't stay here.

Room 101 smelled of cigarettes, and the lobby was closed. The tub looked horrible, but the front desk brushed it off as moldy silicone. I said it needed to be scraped out and redone. They offered us another room, which was just as disgusting. Before leaving, I wiped the tub with a washcloth and the grime came right off. Don't do it!

The woman at the front desk has such a kind heart. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. Thanks again.
