Grand Resort Hotel - Mt Laurel - Philadelphia

The staff made us feel at home, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Grand Hotel had a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere, with food and service that both exceeded my expectations. The new management seems to have done a great job making the stay welcoming and enjoyable. One of my best hotel experiences, and I'd love to return. Highly recommend!

I remember this being a nice place back in the Coco Keys days, but now it feels like a giant Motel 6 pretending to be a hotel. There are no amenities or pool, the grounds are unkept, and only one elevator works. The AC barely functioned, so I had to move rooms because the first wouldn't cool down. It feels like a sneaky link spot now. With the Westin literally next door, you'd think they'd put in a little effort. Definitely won't return. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze.

It's okay if you just need somewhere to sleep, and there's a Walmart across the street. Only one elevator was working. The bed was rough to sleep on and sounded like an old shopping cart. The TV batteries were dead, so I had to take one out and put it back in whenever I wanted to change my movie. It's a smart TV with streaming apps to log into, but no channels. Philly is about 20 minutes away.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, the TV worked, and the lights came on. My floor was wonderfully quiet Sunday and Monday night, the view was decent, and the spacious lot seemed relatively safe in a decent area. If all you need is somewhere to sleep and use the toilet, it will do. Guess I should've known better than to trust a Priceline deal. 2/10. I know star ratings are based on amenities rather than quality, and this stay made that clear. The tub drained poorly and hadn't been cleaned, with clumps of hair and a slimy, grimy surface. Hot water took several minutes. The AC followed its own schedule, leaving the room too cold for long stretches, then several degrees warmer than the thermostat setting. I wasn't told about WiFi at check-in, and there was no information in the room. The mini fridge only partly worked, while the freezer section had literal inches of thick frost, leaving no room for anything.
