Best Western Mt. Orab Inn

I'm here because of the snowstorm and have been waiting for the roads to clear after three days. I work until 1 a.m., so being jolted awake around 5:30 by the pounding and jumping from the room above has been awful. I put up with it for two mornings, first trying to sleep with earbuds after a 12-hour shift, then telling myself the guests would be gone soon. But it's still happening on day three. Whoever's up there needs to show some respect, whether they live here or not. My company and I won't be bringing our business back.

I was planning to check out as soon as I could get some sleep. It's after midnight, I'm nearly three hours from home, and I'm exhausted, so leaving right away wasn't realistic. The room looked decent and clean at first, but I couldn't get comfortable in bed and moved to the couch in my suit. Then I saw a roach moving nearby, killed it, and spotted another about half an hour later. While heating Thanksgiving leftovers, I saw a third and told my wife to zip up her luggage. As she did, she found one crawling on the wall. I also noticed one by the fridge. By 2:50 a.m. I'd taken photos and videos, including a picture of one of the smaller roaches. I'm really upset. We didn't expect this given how the room looked, and I'll check out as soon as possible in the morning.

For a work trip, it's an okay place, and they clean the room each day. The bed wasn't great, and a few small things need fixing. There's not much nearby. I wouldn't choose it for a personal stay.

We've stayed here a few times while visiting family, and we'll probably come back since the alternatives nearby are worse. It's an okay place, though not especially nice. The rooms we've had were fairly clean and didn't smell of smoke, even though the lobby does. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast is pretty basic, and if you arrive later in the morning the food can be dried out with nothing replenished. The pool is often closed; it was open this time, but we didn't have time to use it.
