Other hotels nearby were booked because of events, and our request to move rooms was denied. At first they refused any refund. After I sent photos, they offered a partial refund of the cash we paid. We used 60k points plus cash. I don’t want the points back, since I won’t return to a Hilton property. The room wasn’t cleaned properly. The general manager came to inspect it and clean the floor, first saying she stood behind her reinspection and had cleaned it herself. Once I showed her pictures, she agreed the room’s condition was unacceptable. She said the sofa would be professionally cleaned, housekeeping would be addressed, and the inspection process reviewed. The GENERAL MANAGER had done the recleaning and inspection, and it was still filthy. Hilton needs to review her process. We had to use disinfectant wipes to clean what we could.

It was convenient and the bed was good, but this wasn’t as nice as the other Home2Suites where I’ve stayed. The room was clean, and breakfast was okay, though nothing special. The decor and bathrooms could use updating, and the shower door wouldn’t close. The place needs some general upgrades.

The General Manager was approachable when I spoke with them and seemed to take pride in how the hotel is run. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Home2 Suites by Hilton Mt. Pleasant Charleston was clean and welcoming, with spacious, comfortable rooms that were well kept. I’d definitely stay again.

I’ve been here every week for the past month, and it’s been a great stay. My room has always been welcoming and clean to my standards. The young woman on Sunday nights has been outstanding. She sorted out a small check-in issue and answered all my questions efficiently. She’s a real asset to Home2 Suites and the Hilton brand. I’d recommend the hotel to family and friends!
