Paradise Stream Resort

We loved the resort's kitschy, step-back-in-time feel. Everything was clean and all the amenities worked as they should. The food was standard hotel fare at reasonable prices. Theresa and Donna at the desk, along with Tay, Justin, and the rest of the dining staff, were courteous, clear, and helpful. We look forward to coming back.

There was plenty to do throughout the afternoon and evening, with lots of events, and the whole stay felt a bit like a cruise. Dinners were good value with the AAA discount, and the breakfast bar had a great variety. My room had a big round bed, lots of mirrors, a nice living area, a heart-shaped pool larger than a plunge pool, and a champagne glass Jacuzzi eight feet in the air. The rooms are a little run down but clean, with an old vibe and a smell like camping and chlorine. It's quite a fun experience if you like your other half. If not, bring someone else.

The private pool and the ziccuni by it were the best parts for me. It was relaxing to swim whenever I wanted, and the poolside spot made a nice place to unwind with a book or take in the surroundings. The accommodations were comfortable, the setting was quiet and felt secure, and staff were generally pleasant and attentive. The rooms could have been cleaner, though. Some surfaces needed more attention, and more thorough housekeeping would improve the stay. Even so, the peaceful atmosphere and private amenities left me with a positive impression, and I'd recommend it for a quiet getaway.

The starlight ceiling and heart shaped tub were our favorite parts, and I was glad I had a throw blanket for snuggling on the couch by the fireplace. It was very cold outside, but there was plenty to do indoors. We also went out fishing and catching pokemon. The extra activities were a blast, and the mixed age group meant being around lots of lovely couples. Staff knew their stuff and helped everything run smoothly from check-in to check-out. This was our first visit, and the many happy repeat customers were easy to see. My husband and I had a very enjoyable, romantic, relaxing stay.
