At $50, this place might be worth it, but I paid $112 and it wasn’t. The room had water everywhere when we arrived, and the door wouldn’t shut. The AC smelled moldy and was broken, stuck on high or off. The fridge was held together with tape, and the bed felt like sheet metal, popping every time we moved. We only found a few crumbs and bugs, so at least that wasn’t too bad. Those moldy popcorn ceilings could use an update too.

It was convenient right off the interstate, and since the place was practically empty, parking and noise weren’t a problem. Still, the rooms are small and dated, and even though I can’t say mine was dirty, the worn look set the tone. The heating system took hours to warm the room. We went out to dinner, came back to only a slight change, and decided to stay. I told the front desk, who said those systems take a while, but offered another room. I didn’t want the hassle. I kept adjusting the temperature manually all night, and it seemed to keep heating until I finally turned it off. It was a short stay, so I put up with it, but using points and still paying too much for the room’s quality felt bad. The quick sink repair was good for a laugh and added to the whole feel of the place.

Newly renovated, with excellent accommodations and great rooms for a remarkably low price in this area. It’s a good economical place if you’re visiting Mount Sterling or just passing through. I highly recommend it.

The room was spacious, very clean, and had lots of cool furniture. The TV was very good, and there was even a real phone with a one-button line to the front desk. Check-in staff were patient and helpful, and the rest of the staff were just as nice. The continental breakfast was the best I’ve ever seen. The room smelled of Pine Sol, and there were maps on the office wall. A really nice experience, like motels were 30 years ago, honestly. It’s a nice mix of old and new.

I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews, because I had a great stay. I was here for a month because of some issues I was having, and everyone was wonderful to me and my autistic child. Nobody minded how loud he was. The rooms are a bit old, but it’s a cheaper hotel, so what do you expect? You get what you pay for. One particular older lady at the front desk wasn’t very friendly, but otherwise things were great. The location is right in the middle of everything. I felt safe laying my head there at night, and I’m on a budget. Looking forward to staying again. This place is awesome, and I highly recommend it.
