Americinn By Wyndham Mountain Home

The common area had board games, and there was a little bar by the elevator with room for a few people. It seemed like a nice spot to chat with your group or the bartender. The hotel felt comfortable throughout, the staff were lovely, and everything was clean and working. Breakfast was good too.

The gym had what I needed for a quick stay, and the lighting was good everywhere. I also liked being able to set the temperature just how I wanted. It's a beautiful, brand new hotel in a great spot in Mountainhome. I'd only ask for more protein choices at breakfast.

I wish the complimentary coffee were made in a machine that grinds beans and brews a fresh cup, like at Holiday Inn. What they have is kept in a Thermos, and it doesn't stay fresh after a while. Apart from that, our stay was excellent.

Cancelling reservations because of a “policy change” is poor customer service. Their line about “No local guests for the betterment of the hotel” sounds snobby and like a way to keep homeless people from affecting the “vibe.” If people are paying customers, that shouldn't matter. I won't recommend this place to my out-of-state friends when they visit, on principle.
