We'd only been able to book a smoking room through Expedia for our small family's vacation, and weren't keen on that. When I checked in, Ms. Kelley worked to switch us to a non-smoking room at no extra charge. She was so sweet and welcoming, and her help meant a lot. All the staff were kind and helpful during our stay. The place was tidy, clean, and comfortable, and felt warm and cozy on the day we were rained in for much of the time.

We got in around 11pm, and the front desk clerk already had our paperwork ready to sign. Our room, 101, was right by the lobby, but it was spacious and clean. The bed was amazing, and we slept really well. Breakfast was okay.

The room had a strong musty smell, so I mentioned it to Sheila. She gave me a Lysol disinfectant spray and said to spray several times to clear the odor. Sheila herself was the cutest little lady I've ever met.

We asked for a handicapped room and weren't given one. The sink wouldn't drain and the fridge froze our drinks; we reported both, but neither problem was fixed. We had booked through booking.com two months ahead, yet at the desk the woman said we still had to pay because she hadn't run it through. It turned out she'd never accepted the payment. We spent 45 minutes trying to reach someone at booking.com, then she emailed them again to confirm the payment and got it. I'll never stay there again.

The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were great. We stayed for 3 nights and would come back.
