The breakfast and pool are what we still remember most. My boyfriend and I stayed here in December 2022, after a night at the Mountain Home Inn across the street. Honestly, that breakfast was the best part of our visit, lol.

The tub felt really unsafe to me. I’m almost 70 and careful on my feet, but it was very slick, with just one grab bar on the back wall and no bar to help getting in or out. The curved shower curtain left more than a foot open at each end, so water ran onto the floor. I had to call my wife in to help me out. A wet floor and slippery tub could have been very dangerous.

The remodel looks nice, but the rooms are really small, and it doesn't seem like they provide sofas anymore. There are only showers. Restaurants close early, and it isn't a great deal at $300 for two rooms for one night. Still, I'd recommend it.

Our room wasn't big, but it was nice, and the people were kind. They moved us when we asked. The heated pool and hot tub were excellent, and breakfast was a proper full breakfast.

The rooms only have basic DirecTV. There are smart TVs in the lobby, but not in the rooms, so if you've got a series or show to watch, you'll have to do it out there.
