Honeysuckle Inn - Mountain View

The bed gave me the best sleep I’ve ever had. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world, including some of the best five-star places, but this was the most comfortable, homely stay I’ve had. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the linens were fresh. My few interactions with staff were wonderful, and they gave me the feeling that they really care about their guests. I’d travel all the way here just to stay at this hotel. It feels like home, but better.

Edit to original post: WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN!! We left at 3am because the bed was so awful. My husband tried sleeping in his truck just to get some rest, and I woke up at 230am and found him. I’d give the place 0 stars if I could! Original post: We weren’t impressed or even satisfied. We wanted a reasonably priced place, but motel 6 would have been cheaper and more comfortable. The bed was extremely firm and a bit lumpy, even though I usually like a firm mattress. The linens were awful and super thin, basically just two flat sheets. The AC was broken and couldn’t be adjusted properly, so it either blasted cold air or did nothing. There’s more I could say, but if you’re hoping to rest after a long day like we were, this isn’t the place.

Nicole was so pleasant and informative, a real sweetheart. The rooms were nice and clean, and check-in was easy. The woman who checked us in went above and beyond. Thanks to all of you for being so kind. ❤️

The staff were very helpful, and the location is convenient. There’s a BBQ place next door, and Walmart, McDonald's, a winery, and an Asian restaurant aren’t too far away. There’s also a gas station across the street. Rooms were clean, the bed was okay, and continental breakfast was provided. I’d recommend it for a stay in Mountain View, where options in this small city are limited.
