Hyatt Centric Mountain View

I've stayed here a handful of times over the past four years and have enjoyed each visit. The rooms are clean, nicely designed, and have what you need. There's an indoor pool and a gym with machines and weights for a quick workout. The location puts you near offices, a movie theater, shopping plaza, apartments, restaurants, and a park. Staff are friendly, and the breakfast restaurant has a great menu. The bar is decent during happy hour and in the evening too. A great place with good staff and a trusted, recognizable brand.

I liked getting two big complimentary water bottles each day, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Just be aware that most close by 9 pm and the hotel has no room service. The one thing that bothered me was that laundry staff entered my room and left my laundry inside despite the 'do not disturb' sign on the door. Luckily, nothing was stolen, though I didn't have valuables in the room.

We had a wonderful stay, and the staff really made our staycation special. The hotel is spacious and modern, and the location is amazing. I'll definitely recommend it to out-of-town guests. One thing I wish I'd known: if you book through Chase Travel, the property isn't required to honor Globalist perks because it's a third-party booking. I wasn't aware of that beforehand.

I love that the rooms have been updated and come with Chromecast. It lets me stream whatever I want while relaxing in bed, unlike some older Hyatts that still don't offer it. The location is hard to beat, so I stay here almost every time I'm in the Bay Area. Grocery stores are right behind the hotel, and there are lots of food options nearby. The membership perks are thoughtful too: complimentary water, sometimes with two extra bottles delivered the next day. I have run into one odd issue with the app: it lets me book fewer than three nights, but when I try for four nights or more, it shows no availability. Maybe it's just my dates, but it's a bit of a mystery.
