The deadbolt was broken, so we barricaded the door and slept on top of the bed because the room looked so questionable. It was dirty, and the TV didn't work. After driving from Santa Fe toward the Austin area, we just needed a place for the night, but we barely got any sleep. One star only because zero isn't an option. Save your money and stay at Heritage House instead. That place is clean, safe, and quiet.

It might do for a quick stop, but the room was really uncomfortable, the linens were dirty, and there was no hot water or ice. The owners were rude, and we felt a bit ripped off when we were charged more than the advertised rate. I'd think twice before staying here.

The carpet had a bloodstain, and there was snuff spit on the wall. The shower curtain was moldy inside, and the TV picture was so bad it was almost impossible to make out. The beds felt harder than plywood.

It's a cheap, no-frills little motel, and the price is the lowest in town. The mattresses could use an update, and the hot water heater probably could too, though both were okay. You get what you pay for.

After eight hours on the road, this little place felt like heaven. The room was better than I expected for $50 a night, the beds were clean, and I was comfortable there. The owners were really nice, too.
