Holiday Inn Express Munising-Lakeview by IHG

We really appreciated how the team handled the problems and would gladly stay here again. They kept us updated, checked in on us, and moved us to another suite as soon as one opened the next day. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and clearly cared about our comfort. The first night started roughly when the AC in our suite began blowing hot air. Staff quickly moved us to a two-bedroom room for the night. That room had another heating issue, but reprogramming the thermostat fixed it. We later found out something had gotten around the coil in the original unit, causing it to overheat. Once another suite was available, they upgraded us and helped us move. Their professionalism and kindness turned what could have been frustrating into a positive experience.

The King room had a "Superior" view, and the location couldn't have been better, with waterfalls, shopping, breweries, and nature all close by. Every staff member was super friendly and professional. We loved our stay at Holiday inn Express and will definitely be back. It may become our regular spot each year. Everything was five stars and above.

Our room worked perfectly for the family, with a walkout balcony, three queen beds, and two bathrooms. The view was beautiful, and the location was handy for food and attractions. Breakfast was what you'd expect at a hotel. The place was clean, and the pool and the indoor hot tub were both large.

I was upgraded to a lake-view room with a balcony at no extra charge because I'm an IHG rewards member. The lake view was spectacular. The room and common areas were very clean, and the hotel was well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were good, and staff were super friendly. Breakfast was pretty good, well stocked, and served in a very clean dining area. There's also a nice exercise room and pool.
