Executive Inn

I arrived at 8:48pm on 5/15/2026 and left at 9:35pm because the room was in bad shape and there were blood stains on the mattress. I hadn't checked the reviews before booking, but I should have: exactly two months earlier, someone had reviewed this same room and reported bed bugs. Please issue my refund. The front desk had the nerve to say they didn't know about these kinds of problems.

After driving for 13 hours, we arrived to find no one at the front desk. We had to call a number and wait for someone to come unlock the door so we could check in. We also owed $61 at arrival, not the $15 stated in the booking. We'd prepaid $89 online, and the extra deposit hadn't been clearly disclosed. The room didn't match the listing and was poorly maintained. We reserved two queen beds but got Twin XL beds, and they weren't made properly. There was only one towel for three people, no hand towels or soap, and almost no toilet paper. The heater didn't work, the water temperature kept changing, and the bathtub had visible holes. The bedding showed signs that could be consistent with bedbugs. We didn't see any live bugs after inspecting the mattresses, but the condition was concerning. Between the surprise charges, lack of staff, misleading room, and cleanliness issues, this didn't meet basic hospitality standards. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was old and smelled bad, and I could hear diesel engines on the road all night. I was told check-in would be at 4-4:30, not 3. The TV lost its signal around 10pm, and the front office smelled like feet or body odor. At 8:30am the next morning, the office door was still locked and nobody was there for checkout. They also charged an extra $15.00 without really explaining why, just saying I should have read the receipt. Two days later, I called about the deposit refund. After I said okay, thank you, he hung up on me. I know it's cheap, but pay $30 more and go down the road.

It was okay for one night, but I wouldn't stay longer. The room smelled musty, the toilet leaked onto the floor, and the bathroom door handle was loose so the door wouldn't stay shut. You get what you pay for.
