Affordable Suites Myrtle Beach

Nancy was very gracious when she checked us in. The property is small but very clean, and our room was roomy and comfortable. We liked that the mattress was firmer than the usual hotel bed, so we weren’t sinking into it. An iron and ironing board, or maybe a small steamer, would be a useful addition. We’ll stay here again on our travels.

Affordable suites had the cleanest room I’ve ever seen, and it smelled so good when we walked in. Everything was nice and quiet, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the service was excellent. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. If I come back to the beach, I’d definitely stay here again.

We chose this extended-stay hotel because laundry was available on site, and the website said we could pay by credit card. That turned out not to be true. You have to download an app, open an account, and move money from your bank into that third-party app. We’ve been victims of fraud before, and after reading bad reviews of these app-based laundry services, including one saying the company was stealing from them, we wouldn’t risk it. We’ve stayed at lots of hotels across several states over the month, and none of them required this kind of laundry app. We wouldn’t have booked a full month here if we’d known we couldn’t use the laundry service.

Whenever I'm in Myrtle Beach or Florence, I come back here. The rooms are clean, with fresh linens and towels, and I haven't seen any bugs. It feels safe, not sketchy. Ms Nancy is so nice and really looks after us. There's always a bag of chips or cookies and a bottle of water waiting in the room, which means a lot after a long drive. It's my home away from home in South Carolina.
