The oceanfront view from our Airbnb room was really nice. We stayed for 10 days and saw roaches everywhere in the building, in all shapes and sizes. The staff we met were friendly, though some of the security seemed a little sketchy. As a woman, I’d definitely recommend not walking around alone. The outdoor pools were really nice, and the indoor pool on the 7th floor was a good option while it was cold. But that pool was pretty dirty, with murky water and hair and other things floating in it all the time. It’s a decent affordable place on the beach, but we won’t be back.

Getting anyone on the phone was nearly impossible, and the office is across the street. Inside, the hallways were filthy, fresh towels were hard to find, and the pool on the 7th floor had big clumps of hair and other debris in it. We even saw cockroaches in the stairwells and on the outdoor walkways. The security guards were extremely uptight, and I wouldn't recommend a woman walk alone on the property at night. Dogs are supposedly not allowed, but a large German Shepherd mix lunged at my son as we entered the elevator on the 7th floor. At 1:30 a.m. we got back to our room and found that our key had been programmed wrong. We had to wait around for a replacement before we could get in. We weren't happy with our stay at all. It's one of the worst hotel experiences we've had, and we won't stay here again or return to the area.

Rooms were nice, the accommodations were good quality, and there was a variety of amenities. We came from North Carolina with several family members for a Mother's Day vacation and booked multiple rooms. Getting help was a problem. Some of our group tried calling and others sent online requests to extend their stays, but nobody got an answer or a callback. I also asked online to switch from two queen beds to a king oceanfront room and never heard anything back. A basic first-aid item wasn't available at the property. After scraping my knee in the lazy river, I asked for a waterproof bandage and was told they had none. Since the main office is across the highway, I walked over, only to be given an ordinary bandage. A resort with pools, a lazy river, and beach access should have waterproof bandages on hand. The extra costs added to the frustration. There was a choice of a $250 security deposit or a $39.99 damage protection plan, and parking cost extra. With room rates already high, I think at least one parking space per room should be included. The nice rooms and amenities couldn't make up for the poor communication, limited guest support, and fees. To me, this place is overrated and overpriced, and I'd stay somewhere else on a future family trip, even if it's planned here.

The desk staff were some of the friendliest people I've dealt with, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and getting to the beach was easy. I never felt unsafe, though more security might have helped with the frequent pot smoking in rooms and the garage. The smell was awful at times. Parking is limited in the garage, and it fills quickly on weekends, so go during the week if you can. The breezeways could use some attention, but I wasn't staying in one, so it didn't affect my trip.

The next morning my husband woke up with a roach crawling on him. We found several in the second room too, and there was no hot water in the shower the whole time. The refrigerator wouldn't get cold, and the room turned cold as soon as the heat went off because there was a big gap under the sliding door. We first stayed in room 327 in C Towers on 11/10/25. The elevator felt like it might quit at any moment, and the walkway was filthy. The room was old and dated. The toilet wouldn't flush, and neither the refrigerator nor the TV worked. Maintenance took ages to arrive, then said he couldn't get to a main box to fix things, so we were moved to the 7th floor of another building. Getting off the elevator there felt like we were about to be grabbed and thrown into the back of a white van. The new room seemed cleaner until we noticed the roaches. I wouldn't recommend this disgusting trap house to anyone, and I'll tell people to stay away. The $250 fee is ridiculous when you're sleeping with roaches, there's no hot water, and you also have to pay for parking. I know these reviews are bought because this place is horrible.
