The staff were great, and after we asked at the desk for a renovated oceanfront king suite, they accommodated us. If you stay here, ask for a renovated room. Some have washers and dryers and some don't, and they all have full kitchens. There are lots of pools and lazy rivers for kids. Our first room was in the Jamaican building, which was run down and smelled of mildew. We called the front desk and got moved to the fourth floor. That room was better, but it had two full beds, so we couldn't share a bed, and it needed updating too. June was a bad time for us to go. They pump sand back onto the beach then, and the equipment beeping all night was super annoying. 😳

Yasmin at the front desk was amazing, warm, and professional. She answered all my questions and made checking in feel easy and comfortable. Isabella, the trainee, was just as polite and informative. The room was even better than I expected: clean, comfortable, and perfect for us. A wonderful last-minute family mini vacation, thanks to them! ✨

Our three-bedroom corner condo in the main building was beautiful and roomy, with everything we needed and an amazing view. My son loved the waterslide, and the clean, well-maintained pools gave the whole family something to enjoy. Housekeeping kept us stocked and responded quickly when we needed something. Elizabeth at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, and answered all our questions. Jonathan helped us to our room and was very friendly, as were all the staff we met. This was our favorite place to stay, and we'll definitely be back.

The strong marijuana smell coming from my 9th floor balcony every night was the one issue, and I also didn't like walking through secondhand smoke outside by the pool. Otherwise, we loved the experience. Our two-bedroom, two-bath oceanview condo and the resort were beautiful, with great amenities and a gorgeous view. It's close to everything, including local places to grab quick food or groceries.

We felt safe, the elevators worked well, and getting to the beach was easy. Our room had a lovely balcony view for a fair price, and the front desk made check-in smooth and welcoming. We had a great Christmas weekend at Caribbean Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach and would recommend it to families visiting the area. There was a hot water problem for a few hours, but the front desk staff worked hard to find a solution that suited us. We enjoyed the indoor pool, though we wished more of it were heated. Housekeeping came every day to take the trash and replace towels. Breakfast at the buffet at Sea Captain’s House next door was a trip highlight. Steve in the gift shop was especially kind to my daughter, and we enjoyed seeing him daily. We also stopped at the Starbucks across the street every morning.
