After a seven-hour drive, we arrived to self check-in, which was fine. As soon as we turned on the light in the room, roaches scattered. There was black mold all over the lampshades and ceiling, and when I checked the beds, they had what looked like millions of bed bugs. The sheets had blood stains and mold growing on them. The pool area was pitch black and looked unused for years. This place needs to be condemned. My daughter has asthma and had an attack within 30 minutes because of the mold. I’ll be contacting the health department. I booked through booking.com and called to say it wasn’t going to work for my kids. They said that because it was a privately owned condo, they needed permission to refund me. Nobody could get ahold of the owners, so I was left without a room and out of my money. I’m disgusted and would not recommend staying here.

The room was dirty, and there was leftover trash, including eyelashes from whoever stayed before us. Parking was awful, too. The listing advertised a pool, but it was completely off limits. They charge $25 for clean sheets, a towel exchange, toilet paper, or trash bags, and another $25 if anyone has to come to the room for any reason. I’m not usually someone who complains, and I’ve stayed in some bad places, but paying so much for somewhere nice and then being charged for basic supplies in a dirty room made me angry. I also found a $1.95 charge on my debit card each time we entered the door code. None of these fees were mentioned in the listing when I booked. It’s a money pit and not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend it or give it more than one star.

I had an ocean view from my renovated room. It looks like they’re remodeling while still doing business. For the price, you can’t beat the hotel or the amazing ocean views.

The only good things were the hot water and balcony. The room didn’t match what I saw online, and there was no waterside or even a pool. That’s false advertising. There was no customer service at all, and security was rude and unhelpful. I left something in the room, and less than five minutes later the code had been changed. I tried calling, but nobody answered, so don’t stay here. 4/10.
