Hilton Garden Inn Myrtle Beach/Coastal Grand Mall

We'd flown into Myrtle Beach for a surprise birthday party near Florence, and I had planned to stay close to our departure point. Snow caused flight problems and delays, so we needed another day and different room arrangements. Mary at the front desk was amazing. She changed our rooms, combined the reservations and added our adult daughter after her flight was canceled too.

The hotel is in a great spot, with a large shopping mall right next door and several restaurants within walking distance. There's also a good restaurant in the hotel itself. The staff were friendly, and I had a very nice stay. I'd come back.

We were told the bar stayed open until 10:00, but it was already closed at 7:35 pm, which was really disappointing. There was no airport shuttle on Christmas day, which I understand, but nobody let us know until I called from the airport to ask for it.

Our room was spacious, updated and spotless, with thoughtful storage space for clothes and luggage, plus a coffee maker and refrigerator. The hotel felt clean and fresh as soon as we walked in. We appreciated the complimentary water and snack, and there's free coffee in the morning too. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location worked perfectly for us, close to the airport, not far from the beach and right beside Coastal Grand Mall. There's a great restaurant in the hotel as well as a well stocked grab-and-go area. The lobby has some nice work spaces, and although we didn't get a chance to use either pool, they looked inviting. Everything seemed well maintained. We were very pleased and would happily return.
