Holiday Inn Club Vacations South Beach Resort by IHG

The courtyard fountain was nice background sound, and the screened porch let a good breeze through the rooms. It was a pleasant place to sit in the afternoon. The place was very clean and well equipped, though there was no Keurig. The main bedroom was roomy, with a jetted tub, double sinks, and a lovely walk-in shower with toiletries. It cost less than a one-night hotel stay. It's out of the way, but handy for the airport.

The two-bedroom suite was roomy and comfortable, just what I needed for my trip to a red carpet film premiere at the Grande 14. The beach was only a short walk away, and there was a short golf course next door. I’d gladly return to Holiday Inn Resort Myrtle Beach South. A couple of small snags: my IHG Diamond Elite status showed as Platinum at check-in, and the room could use more charging outlets, especially USB-C. I didn't eat on site, so I can't speak to the food.

There were daily activities at the resort, plus shows and other things about 10-30 minutes away. We were right by the beach, and the location worked well. During my December 19th to December 25th stay at Holiday Inn Club Vacations South Beach Resort, we had a Signature Presidential room. It was relaxing, clean throughout, and the beds were really comfortable. I brought my Xbox Series S and played online without trouble for the first three days. Then the internet went out, so I called the front desk; they sent the network guys, who got it running again. I enjoyed the visit and would definitely recommend staying here.

We couldn't make much use of the amenities because the weather was a bit too cool for us. The staff were helpful and checked in by text during the stay. Our two-bedroom unit had a soft, comfortable bed, two sinks, a relaxing tub, and a separate walk-in shower. The fireplace ran on a timer. There was a shared washer and dryer with the neighboring unit. The kitchen had dishes and a toaster, but only a regular coffee maker, no Keurig. The toilet leaked from somewhere, and they sent someone to repair it. The leak was fixed by the time we returned, though the wet towel they'd used was left on the floor.
