The room was awful. Dead flies, dirty walls, and big water bugs coming in under the door kept me awake all night. You could even see outside through the gap at the bottom of the door, which needs replacing. The staff, though, were wonderful, especially Ms. Maggie, the manager. She was so kind and accommodating, a real gem.

I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The motel looked nothing like its online pictures, and when I went into the room, it felt damp and musty. I also felt scared. The only way to ask for help was by email, and the people I saw around the property seemed sketchy to me. The motel is in a part of town I didn't find very nice. That old saying about getting what you pay for felt true here. From now on, I'll only book with Hilton, Marriott, or IHG.

If you want a clean room, great service, and good restaurants nearby without paying nearly as much as those fancy $300-a-night high rises, this is the place.

The staff were really helpful, and the location is great, close to Kings Hwy, restaurants, shopping, and things to do. The cottage itself is adorable and just one block from the beach.

Maggie, the office manager, was the best. She checked in on us and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, plus more. We stayed three nights and enjoyed every one of them. The room was lovely, and the beds were so cozy we didn't want to get up. We'll stay again when we're back next month.
