The one downside was the hot tub. It had so many chemicals that our eyes burned badly, and we could see thick white foam floating in it. We got out in under ten minutes. That doesn't change my five-star review, though. Everything else was amazing, from valet to check-in, and the room was very clean. The bartender, a young Jamaican woman, was friendly, and the chicken tacos I had were fresh and tasty. Shops are an easy walk away, and the price was worth every dollar. I'll use this hotel again next time.

The arcade room was really fun, and breakfast in the lobby is free every day from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. I especially recommend the potato pancakes, waffles, banana muffin, scrambled eggs, and coffee. Room prices do get expensive from April to September; we came in January. My family and I came to escape the winter storm and have no regrets. The kitchenette had a full-size fridge and nice cutlery, plus there was one sofa bed and one king bed. Great vacation spot, I'd definitely recommend it!

Our room was very clean, with a private balcony facing the beach, and the stay was so peaceful. The staff were excellent, sweet, and accommodating. They texted every day to check that things were going well, something no other hotel has done for us. The valet attendants were friendly too. We didn't use their service, but they told us where to find free parking near the hotel and greeted us daily. Robby, the security guy, was friendly, asked how our stay was, and told us about the area. Their service made the experience even better. We got a decent price for the days we needed, too. My husband and I had a great time, and I'd highly recommend this hotel.

This is a nice place to stay in the off season, but I wouldn't want to be here in summer. We visited on a quiet weekend with low occupancy and got a great room with a wonderful view. The room was clean, and the staff were helpful. You're right in the heart of Myrtle Beach, with the boardwalk out front and the beach strip easy to walk. Parking is free across the street until March, or valet is $25 a day. One heads-up, you can't get a room key on your phone until you've checked in at the front desk. They said it was to prevent “fraud”?
