Indigo

We had a nice stay and I'd come back. The beds were comfortable, though quite low to the floor. In room 904, neither of the two TV remotes was programmed, so the TV remote didn't work. A customer service rep said she'd let maintenance know, but I never saw anyone come by. Also, there's no restroom in the check-in/check-out area.

We didn't feel safe here, and the whole stay left us with a bad experience. The office is locked at night and often has nobody there, so good luck if you need something. A few times during the week one of the women had her child with her at work. On checkout day we were allowed until noon and planned to leave around 10. After taking some things to our car, we went back upstairs and all our keys had stopped working. The woman blamed our phones, though my key was in my back pocket and my phone was in my purse. I think they saw us on the cameras and shut off the keys, but I don't know. We had to go to the office to get them fixed, which was very weird. They also gave us several reasons we supposedly wouldn't get our $100 deposit back: I had bled through my pad while asleep and onto the sheets, there was a bag of cat food in our room, and there was a full pack of cigarettes on the balcony. Women work in the office and acted like they'd never heard of someone bleeding through a pad. They feed stray cats outside, so there are piles of cat food around, but were upset about the bag in our room. They seemed more concerned about that and the cigarettes than the household roaches on the outdoor furniture. And apparently you have to leave a five-star review to get free glasses at the front office. I'd go somewhere else.

The rooms may look nice, but there were too many problems for me to recommend this place. The shower didn't work, and I had to wait until the next day for help. The TVs had no remotes, and one of them didn't work at all. Find somewhere else to stay.

I had a nice stay at the indigo. It was quiet and modest, right on the beach, and I could see the ocean from my window any time of day. The room and shower were nice, and the price and privacy felt just right.
