Michael at reflections bar was wonderful. He’s so welcoming and good at connecting with people, he made the place feel like home. He also guided us around the city and was great about sharing whatever information we needed.

The view is unbeatable, and there are so many dinner options within walking distance. We’ve vacationed and lived in the area for decades and stayed at many hotels, but this Resort/Inn really impressed us. We spent Christmas Eve here, then returned the night after Christmas for another stay, doing what our kids call “living our best lives.” Scott was phenomenal both times, with a real heart for his job. There are activities along the waterway, a beach shuttle, a full bar, coffee bar, and all kinds of surprises. LP told us about all of that. We love showing this Resort to people we know. We may have started a family tradition of staying here every year.

There’s lots of parking, and the rooms are clean. The staff are nice and hospitable, and the room was spacious with a great view of the pool and lake. Waterscaped restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food is good. I gave four stars because some furniture and wallpaper are dated, and the bathroom could use modern updates. Otherwise, it’s a pleasant spot for a Myrtle Beach getaway.

The staff were wonderful, always friendly and checking if we needed help. Our recently remodeled two-bedroom was fantastic, and the bar staff and cocktails were great too. You can walk to Ruth Chris, but for other restaurants you’ll need a short drive.
