Myrtle Beach Resort by Myrtle Beach Management

Our condo was great, and we loved the amenities, the location, and the restaurant. With the Quarter Deck for food, we could spend a whole day there without leaving. The place was pretty quiet too. We had a great stay, and we’d come back if we could get the same condo. There were some problems, though. The elevator at the end of building A felt sketchy and acted up all week. My 10-year-old got stuck alone in it for a few minutes when it lost power, but it came back on and he got out. The pool behind building A was clear and warm one day, then cloudy and dirty-looking the next. The lazy river was dirty and freezing; the beachside pool was fairly clean but also freezing. At first, security wouldn’t let us in because our code had expired, even though the blue tag was in our window and they had my information from check-in. Since we’d booked through VRBO, we couldn’t reach the owner straight away. After waiting outside the gate for 30 minutes with groceries in the car, we asked to be let in just to put them away while I kept trying to contact the owner. They let us in “just this time.” I asked if we’d be unable to get back in after dinner, and was told we’d have to sleep in our car. The owner eventually replied, was appalled, and said the blue tag should have been enough to let us in. They’d had trouble with security before, he said, and he’d call so it wouldn’t happen again. We got a new code and had no more trouble the rest of the week.

There was plenty to do at the resort, so we didn’t really need to leave. The kids had a blast at the splash pad, though it could’ve been cleaner. We enjoyed Stella's, played corn hole, and watched the little turtles in the ponds. The salty bean coffee shop was a favorite, and the hula fire show was a great finish to a fantastic week. This resort is a gem, and we can’t wait to return.

I didn’t expect Myrtle Beach Resort to win me over, but I loved our stay. We booked a private Airbnb condo that was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining area, and living room. It slept six easily: a king bed in one room, a queen on the bottom and a twin on top in the other, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There was lots to do at the resort, including a playground, pool, and waterpark, and getting to the beach was easy, just a short walk to the sand. The outside of the resort is showing its age and could use some care, and the elevator acted moody a few times. But the condo itself was gorgeous and made it easy to forget about those things. A comfortable, convenient place with great beach vibes.

We had a great time in the condo, which was perfect for our family. We also loved the quick walk to the beach bar and all the pools. Only wish we’d stayed longer!
