Ocean Reef 1421

We had a great condo stay with six people. It was roomy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pools were fantastic, and breakfast was great with really friendly staff. Everyone we dealt with was great. I’d highly recommend it.

There’s plenty for kids and teens to do, and the staff are so accommodating that they’ll go out of their way to make sure you’re happy and have what you need. The place was very clean, with wonderful rooms and a great location. Balconies in the north tower are a bit small but still have an ocean view, while the south tower balconies are very spacious. I can’t say enough good things and will definitely stay again.

The room was simple, remodeled nicely, and clean overall, though I would have liked it dusted more carefully. There were spots up high and down low that had been missed, the kind of thing that happens at home too, but I don’t like feeling it on a trip. The bathroom was a little tight to move around in, though I understand sometimes you have to make the best of a smaller space. The staff were friendly. Next time, if one is available, I may ask for a one-bedroom suite so the bedroom is separate.

My husband and I have stayed here for years, and the view is amazing. But on January 17-19, we found the fitted and top sheets soiled when we pulled back the bedcovers. We told the front desk, and an employee sent up clean sheets with my husband, saying housekeeping would come change the bed. No one came, so we changed the sheets ourselves. When we told the front desk we’d had to do it, she seemed unaffected. She did give us breakfast free on our last morning, and both the breakfast and the people serving it were amazing. Still, after this, it’ll be hard for me to return, and that makes me sad.
