Quality Inn & Suites

We drove 10 1/2 hrs to get here for a Baseball game, but our room still wasn’t ready at 5pm after the game. We’d arrived early and politely asked if we could check in if it was ready. The woman at the desk gave me a very snarky “what time do hotels let you check in” response. I said usually 3p, but we were just asking, then had to find something to do before the game. Once we finally got into the room almost 30 minutes later, we rode a very jenky elevator that looked ready to fall apart. The hallway smelled musty, and the room smelled like floor cleaner and dog shit. I’m guessing there were bugs in the room or hotel, and it definitely didn’t look like the online pictures. We went out to eat and do a few other things, got back around 9, and were exhausted. At about 4am, loud stomping from upstairs woke me up and went on for hours. I don’t know if it was kids or what, but it didn’t stop. We all got up and left quickly. I don’t recommend this hotel at all. At $180 a night, it definitely wasn’t worth it.

The toilet kept running and flushing by itself all night, which kept my husband awake. We reported it to the front desk on the second day, then told another clerk that evening when it still hadn’t been fixed while we were out all day. This continued for 3 days. As far as I know, it may STILL be running. On our last morning, my husband found the maintenance man in the hallway and brought him in to show him the problem. When we returned at 3:00 that afternoon, it still wasn’t fixed. We checked out early to get on the road, and this was one of the reasons. No customer service.

There was a problem with the first room I was given, but the guy at the desk quickly found me another one. I slept comfortably and didn’t see any bugs. The rooms could use some love, though. The stairwell smelled bad and there were missing bulbs in the bathrooms. Also, thanks to Tristan, who left his Amazon prime logged into the TV!

My daughter and I finally got to relax here and felt peaceful and comfortable. The front counter staff were patient and kind, and the manager quickly took care of my request to move us to a new room. It had a great workstation and a coffee/tea maker. We also got fresh towels and an awesome breakfast. I love the location, with lots of stores within easy walking or driving distance, and it was quiet too. Truly a great stay with warm hospitality and a positive atmosphere. Thank you so much, I highly recommend it!
