The staff I met were helpful and polite, and the beach access was great. The place is a little dated, but overall it's a nice space for a couple or family. I loved the tucked-away bunk bed area for extra sleepers, and parking wasn't bad, as long as you display your pass or risk being towed. The linen service was frustrating: you can exchange linens only twice a week on specific days. If those days don't line up with your stay, you'll have to wash your own towels and other linens. I'd stay again, but I'll bring my towels, lol.

Our family loved staying in a two-bedroom unit, and we always felt safe and cozy. The hotel has distinctive, eye-catching views and a homey feel. Like many long-standing, proud hotels, it could be modernized, but its retro style is unique to the place, so I'm not sure it needs changing. Myrtle Beach is phenomenal, with lots of activities and historically rich attractions to explore. We hope to return to Schooner II soon.

We've had a timeshare here for over 40 years, and it's been our best investment. We take a vacation every year, no matter what, just as a timeshare should be used. We love the beach, and the rooms are clean and great. What more could you want?

We were on the 9th floor and didn't get to see the remodeled rooms on floors 16-12. The staff were great, friendly, and professional. The spot is excellent, with plenty to do within walking distance. The building is dated, and the outdoor pool and hot tub are just okay, small and in need of work. Don't bother with the indoor hot tub. The owners need to keep less of the money and put more of it back into the building.

Cartina and Caroline deserve a big shout-out. They were always smiling and helpful, even though they're right in the thick of things when guests check in or bring up needs and problems. Everyone was helpful and polite from check-in through check-out, and we had an amazing, relaxing week. Thank you all.
