The time-share presentation was quick and fun, and we got 120K points for attending. We passed because of our age, though if we were in our 30s to 60s we would have considered it. It seemed like a valuable program, not the old-fashioned kind of time share. Our room was immaculate, and every employee we met was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Parking is nearly a block away, but you can unload and load at the hotel, then self-park for free in the off-season or for $20 a day in season. Valet is $25 per day year-round. We’ll definitely return.

The boardwalk was nice for an evening stroll with all the Christmas decorations up. The hotel itself was pleasant, with very friendly staff, spacious rooms, and plenty of kitchen items for making small meals. From our 27th-floor room, and even from the hallway and elevator windows, the views were remarkable. Elevator access also felt secure: you use your room key at the panel, then it directs you to an elevator. I probably wouldn’t stay again. It feels more like a time-share property, and for the room price, the parking garage down the street and the amenities I wanted make another Hilton brand a better fit for me. There was nothing wrong with the place; I just prefer certain amenities. There’s a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, and convenience shop on the second floor, but service was very slow. My quesadilla took well over 20 minutes, and after that wait it wasn’t worth the price.;

I’ve stayed at all the Hilton Grand Vacations in Myrtle Beach and I’m an owner. Enclave is my favorite by far, and I’ll book it again. The rooms have kitchens and washer/dryers, the daily activities are interesting, and both indoor and outdoor pools are heated. The bar opens at 11, earlier than the others I’ve visited. It’s close to everything and connects to the boardwalk, while the stay itself felt very pleasant and better than the other Hilton Grands. Staff were extremely helpful and customer service was excellent. If you cook, bring detergent, dryer sheets, salt and pepper, condiments, oil or butter, and coffee filters if you bring your own coffee. The soap is very drying, so I’d bring hand soap too. Myrtle Beach hotels can smell strongly of chlorine and dry out your skin and hair unless they have a softener. The Hiltons don’t, so there’s chlorine in the pools and spa as well as in the room water. Bottled water, hydrating lotion, and leave-in hair conditioner may help. If you dislike one-ply toilet paper, bring your own. A couple of room issues kept this from being a five-star room for me. Housekeeping swept the hard floors instead of vacuuming, so dust seemed to get stirred up and settle back on the floor and furniture. The water was only lukewarm for showers and dishes, and the pressure was very low in our room, though that may have been specific to our unit. Breakfast can also be a hassle. There’s just one person at the counter during the morning rush, which means a long line and wait for hot food and coffee. Cooking in the room or going to one of the many nearby restaurants may save some frustration.

My birthday weekend was made special by a thoughtful surprise: balloons and a card waiting in the room. I arrived around 1:30 PM and was able to check in early to my two-bedroom oceanfront suite. It was spotless, modern, smelled lovely, and the view from the 21st floor was breathtaking. The resort has a sports bar, Starbucks, game room, lounge, cabanas, heated outdoor pool, and heated jacuzzi. The indoor pool was closed, but we could use the one at the nearby sister property, Hilton Vacation Club Ocean 22, which worked out perfectly. Security and service were both great. There are several suite options for couples or families, and I’d absolutely recommend booking oceanfront for those unforgettable views. I’ll be back!

Elizabeth at the front desk greeted us so warmly. The rooms were modern, the view was wonderful, and having a full kitchen was a real plus. It was quiet and uncrowded during the holiday season, just the kind of pleasant stay we’d hoped for.
