It’s a quiet place, a six-minute walk from the ocean and eight minutes from the shopping center. The two pools were handy, especially the indoor one in August, when we hadn’t expected a whole week of nonstop tropical rain. The main problem was poor sound insulation in the apartments. We woke during the night when the upstairs neighbors used the bathroom because every footstep and floor creak carried loudly. Their two children ran and jumped until after midnight. Everything else was excellent.

Unit E10 was cozy and very well kept, with an extremely comfortable bed, a well-stocked kitchen, spotless bathrooms, and beach gear including chairs on site. It’s a short, direct walk to the beach, convenience store and liquor store. There are indoor and outdoor pools. I also saw another unit that wasn’t furnished nearly as nicely, so it does matter which one you get.

Summertree has become our favorite place to stay so far. We’ve been three times now, and every visit has been really nice. The first condo had two floors and so much space; the two later ones were single-level but still roomy, clean, and well kept. We’d definitely come back.

This was my fourth trip to Myrtle Beach, but my first stay at Summer Tree Village. I really enjoyed it, and it’s very close to the beach.
