Dunes South

We had loads of room in our beachfront unit, so nobody felt crowded, and the view was breathtaking. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed. It’s close to everything, but still feels private. The beds were a little firm, though none of us minded much. Loved our stay, and we’d happily book here again if we’re back in the area.

Beach access was easy, and each unit has an outdoor shower and hose for rinsing off the sand. The views were amazing from the balconies in both the living room and master bedroom. Our three-bedroom, three-bath unit right on the beach was gorgeous and very clean. My granddaughter was delighted by the little bed loft over the living area, and the huge laundry machines could handle more than three towels. The downsides: no pool, lots of stairs to carry groceries up to the third-floor kitchen and living room, and TVs only in the master bedroom and living room.

The kitchen was new, while the other areas had worn spots and dated 70s paneling. For the price, though, it was fantastic. There’s plenty of parking, beach access right on the property, and volleyball, horseshoes, and cornhole. It’s oceanside, quiet, and not crowded. Go!

The houses are clean and about what you’d expect for the price. They seem to improve a little every year, and the private beach access is nice. It’s very dog friendly too. Just don’t count on the internet, the wifi is horrible.
